I know half the point of rat rods is that they aren't safe but no thanks

Though I love rat rods, this one's a little too junked up for my taste.

Is that a beer keg gas tank?

Drag racing will forever be referred to as 'keg stands' by what ever fool briefly owns that prior to fiery death.

I'll never understand putting a Chevy motor into a Ford or the same thing reversed. I get putting a Porsche into a VW but powering a vehicle with its rival's power plant just seems wrong. I'm sure Ford has something that would work in this.

The common excuse is a small block chevy is cheaper and easier to find parts for. But I would pay the extra 1,000 to use a Ford engine in a Ford car. It is like ripping out the soul of the car and changing it completely. I hate it.

Yup.

I'd have to imagine that a Ford 302 can't be that much more difficult to use. But then again, you are giving up 48 cubes for no reason.

Let's be honest here. How much of this is actually Ford? I think it is more like a Chevy with a Ford body.

Keg gas tanks are really common on rat rods. I've got a keg for just this purpose.
